Data Centers

TBG Consult is currently supporting the development of data centers across Europe. Our role spans the entire project lifecycle—from early master planning to construction completion. Our scope includes engineering design management, BIM strategy, and technical due diligence. We lead coordination across all disciplines, including CSA, MEP, permitting, and specialist systems such as fire safety, acoustics, environmental engineering. Acting as a direct interface with the client, we ensure alignment between design intent, project delivery, and long-term operational goals such as sustainability and energy efficiency. In parallel, we authored critical engineering workflows such as Employer’s Information Requirements (EIR) and document management systems.

Our approach is designed to streamline collaboration, improve buildability, and enable smarter decision-making across teams by identifying and mitigating risks early-on—so developers can make confident, well-informed investments.

Utility Building

Skellefteå, Sweden

TBG Consult has led the planning and engineering of a utility building in Northern Sweden. The building generates compressed gases used in a battery factory in Norrland. The building is composed of a timber structure spanning approx. 3000m2.

Our scope included engineering & design management and BIM management from the concept stage to construction. This includes CSA, MEP and process utility scope.

We are especially proud of having achieved an estimated embodied carbon reduction of 35t CO2e by engineering a wood structure instead of the typical steel structure of industrial buildings. As a regenerative resource, wood is especially advantageous for this site as it can be sourced locally.
